EREA Colleges LTD are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Damien Fall as the Principal of St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace, commencing in January 2026.

Damien is a highly regarded member of the Terrace community and an accomplished educational leader, with leadership experience gained in four Catholic schools, including three EREA schools, across almost 30 years of service. Damien has significant experience leading young men, families and staff in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice and this provides him with the breadth of experience and skills necessary to humbly but confidently serve the College community as its leader from 2026. Damien's academic credentials include a Master of Educational Leadership, a Bachelor of Applied Science and Graduate Diploma in Education. He is a recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. As an educator, he commenced as a teacher in the areas of science and mathematics, and his pastoral leadership is highly valued by staff, students and families. 

Damien's appointment comes after the recent announcement of the retirement of current College Principal, Dr Michael Carroll, whose 11 years of leadership have been outstanding and inspirational. The Terrace Family will have the opportunity to show our appreciation and gratitude for Michael's contribution in the coming months.
