A Welcome from our President
Mark Christensen (GT 1994)
Hello and welcome to the new website of the Gregory Terrace Old Boys Association,
One of the core objectives of the association is to strengthen the connection amongst Old Boys, and between Old Boys and The College. To this end, the committee has launched this new online platform where Old Boys can log in and get up to date with what's happening at the school, connect with fellow old boys, and explore the archives, including interesting historical information and photographs about The College and its past pupils. The site will contain Information on all GTOBA events and members will be able to purchase tickets, merchandise and if they so desire, contribute to various fund raising initiatives, all through the one platform. A One Stop Shop for Terrace Old Boys…!
The site will also facilitate GTOBA Mentoring Connect. From something as simple as a coffee to discuss some pathway advice, to internships and everything in between, we believe we have an incredible wealth of experience in our community that can be shared in a way that would add tremendous value to our younger Old Boys.I'd encourage you to explore the site and we would love your feedback . And if you were looking for a way that you can give back to the GT community why not nominate yourself as a mentor in our new program by clicking through the relevant links – whatever field your expertise is in – we would love to hear from you.
We have a busy and exciting calendar for 2024 that includes:
- Presidents Drinks where we'll welcome and introduce the Class of 2023 to GTOBA
- The Annual Br Buckley Breakfast
- The flagship Lunch
- The Vintage Terracians' Morning Tea
- Reunions for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years
- Giving Day – where we support the College's bursary initiative.
Thank you for your interest in the GTOBA, we hope that you enjoy the site and look forward to the opportunity to engage at one or more of our events throughout the year.
